Painting Fort Wayne a Brighter Shade of Seismic

On July 27th, 2013, in beautiful Fort Wayne, Indiana, a team of Tuthill folks from our Transfer Systems line of business partook in a 5k color run to support the Community Harvest Food Bank.

According to their website Community Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Indiana, Inc. was incorporated in 1983 as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization by a group of business, religious, and government leaders in the wake of major factory shutdowns. Throughout our nearly 30 year history, we have distributed over 140 million pounds of food and grocery products throughout Allen, Adams, DeKalb, Huntington, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wells, and Whitley counties.

Patricia "Trish" Steuller, accountant at Tuthill Transfer Systems, "it started out in the spirit of growing healthy families. It was first 5k for a few of us. We thought it would be a great and fun way to get to know each other and help out our community.  We were able to encourage others accomplishments and be supportive.  There are many of us that are going to be participating more 5ks as a result of the fun that we had.  This will result in more of a seismic impact on our community and even healthier employees and families."

Special thanks to Mike Guidry, Angie Caris, Jeff Morris, Katie Morris, Kristin Morris, Jen Taylor, Alexis Dawkins, Patricia Stuller, Carol Gates, Megan Rjasko, Reece Lefever, and Terri Rjasko for having a positive seismic impact on our world!
